Plans for future       Plans for future     Having established itself as a seat of knowledge, the library is poised to take deep strides with the help of modern technology. Computerization of all systems and digitalization of all rarely available reading material have been major objectives undertaken by the management. A brief profile of the future projections is as under.   Computerization of all systems for easy access to readers. Digitalization/ micro filming of old rare books, manuscripts etc. Full fledged Audio/ Video CD Library. Branching out at rural places in the vicinity. To introduce the concept of mobile Library. Book exchange programs in consortium arrangement with educational institutions. Widening the scale of awards by including different literary forms. Construction of Auditorium-cum-Mini theatre. To start our own publishing house.
